Sentence Completion Test - ISSB - Notes / Guidelines

What is Sentence Completion Test and How its Conducted at ISSB

Sentence Completion Test, also known as SCT, is a part of Psychologist Tests at ISSB. In this test, candidates are given incomplete sentences and they have to complete these sentences. Its similar to fill in the blanks, though here one has to complete sentence to make sense.

The candidates are provided with a paper on which 26 partial / incomplete sentences are written. Every candidate gets two pages (one by one). Both of which have 26 sentences on each to complete (one sheet is in English, while other is in Urdu). So, the total sentences are 54.The candidates has to complete the sentences in 6 minutes each.

How to attempt Sentence Completion Test at ISSB

Some of the tips/ guidelines about attempting Sentence Completion test (SAT) are as under:-

- Read the given sentence carefully.
- Create correct/ logical association. You have to write a sentence which seems a continuation of the given incomplete sentence.
- Write the first response which comes in your mind. Don't overthink.
- Completion is the most important part of any assignment given to you. Time management under stress, reflects good on personality.
- Do not fake/ manipulate sentences for positive writing.
- Practice sentence completion test as much as you can.
- Improve your writing speed and vocabulary.

    Assalam alikum, I'm currently a 5th year mbbs student and I wish to join pak army as an M cadet via the scheme offered during 4th and 5th year mbbs, I would appreciate guidance if any and also if anyone here shares the same pathway can let me know or if anyone has idea about when the scheme is to be announced

    Thank you very much, one more thing I would want to ask is that last year the dates for registration were in june, do you think it will be aug and sep or june like the previous year
