Methodology at ISSB
10 Situations in 20 minutes

Guidelines for Female Candidates:

1. Write the reactions close to actual. Best way to do it to put yourself in that situation, as if its happening now. Don’t try to show over courage and bravery. Write the most practical reaction.
2. In case of any crime, don’t run behind the accused equipped with a weapon. You have to identify the accused, inform the police and co-operate in investigation.
3. In situations where you are going out with friends or out of station etc, adopt normal procedures of getting permission of parents.
4. There could be situations requiring pick and choose from family, job, armed forces, etc. Make realistic choices.
5. Be decisive, rather then suggestive. Most men testing female candidates at issb want to see, if you can take bold decisions.
6. Understand your resources and limitations, don't be foolish and don't be timid.

While going through a forest with a friends, you lost the way and it had become dark.

Situation Reaction Test 5
While traveling alone in your car, someone stopped the car and demanded purse at gunpoint.

Situation Reaction Test 6
While going to office, your car hit a child.

Situation Reaction Test 7
The preparation of your sister's marriage are going on. Your mother asks you to go shopping with your male cousin, whom you don't like at all. Your mother is not ready to listed to you on it any further.

Situation Reaction Test 8
Your parents have gone to attend a marriage and you are alone a home. Your first cousin (male), with whom you are engagement is being discussed in two families, engages comes by.

Situation Reaction Test 9
You are working in armed forces, while your husband is a doing a job in a bank. Your posting frequently comes in farther stations away from husband’s place of duty. Your husband wants you to leave the job as the family life is getting impacted.

Situation Reaction Test 10
Your are doing a highly paid job which you obtained after lot of effort. Your boss however, does not seem to be morally correct person and often calls you in his office and you have a strong feeling of being sexually harassed.
