Are we required to write essay during initial tests? What are details about it?
  • There are 2 essays before initial interview, one is in English and the second is in Urdu.
  • One can be an event related to our life.
  • It can be happiest moment of our life, saddest news of our life, shocked new of our life , or any else topic related to candidates life.
  • Candidates are given 10 to 15 minutes for one essay.
What points to be kept in view for writing Event of life essay during initial test or at ISSB
A true event essay, also known as a memory essay, is an essay that focuses on a single important moment or describes vivid recollections of memorable, reoccurring events.

Writing Life Event Essay in Initial Tests - Possible Topics:

1. Traveled to some hill station or adventurous place. Trip abroad etc.
2. Family reunion.
3. Won some award in sports or educational field.
4. Disappointment sorrowful moment.
5. Got married, got a job.
6. Completion of studies/ graduation.

Points to be kept in mind while writing a Life Event Essay:

1. Be truthful and honest, don't bluff.
2. Be short, precise and readable.
3. Highlight your feelings well.
4. Narrate how this incident affected you / became so important for you.
5. Go prepared (for writing such incident).
6. Keep track of time.

What points to be kept in view for writing an Essay during initial Tests

A 10-15 minute essay may be there. Here are some tips which can be helpful.
- Organizing your ideas and make a quick outline (2-3 minutes)
- It’s a very short essay. Try to convey points – make a point with little or no explanation/ examples.
- Try to use short and clear sentences.
- Be legible and keep time available and the level of the reader in view while explaining a point.
- Use headings at main, part and paras as under: -

    all aspects are considered at issb, selection/rejection isn't done for a single aspect like this.

    Hello admin! two really quick questions. 1st is it necessary to present domicile at the AR&SC on the day of initial test along with rest of the documents? 2nd- what is exact number of verbal and non verbal questions in the initial test and what is the exact amount of time allocated for it ?

    Academic tests of which course? You can find detail of initial test exams including academic test of PMA at viewtopic.php?t=10 and practice tests at viewtopic.php?t=100
