Test Syllabus, Procedure For Girls in PAF
The academic test for Pakistan Air Force (PAF) CAE and GDP initial selection comprises three core subjects:
  1. English (50 MCQs, 20 minutes),
  2. Physics (25 MCQs, 10 minutes),
  3. Mathematics (25 MCQs, 10 minutes)
all based on the F.Sc (Intermediate) syllabus.

Eligibility Conditions GDP (PAF)
  • Nationality: Male / Female Citizen of Pakistan
  • Marital Status : Unmarried
  • Age: 16-22 years
  • Height : 163cm for both Male &Female
  • Type of Commission: Short Service Commission (SSC) - Female
  • Educational Qualification: F.Sc with 60% marks in aggregate in any one of the following disciplines:-

Complete Test Procedure for Females - GDP
The complete selection and test procedure for female candidates applying for the General Duty Pilot (GDP) branch in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) involves an initial computer test, medical checkups, interviews, ISSB, and specialized aviation screening.
  • Initial Computerized Test
    • Intelligence Test: Verbal and non-verbal MCQs (approx. 100 questions in 30–35 minutes).
    • Academic Test
      • English – 75 questions – 40 minutes.
      • Physics – 75 Questions – 40 minutes.

(Reference Books : Physics Book-I & II Published by Punjab Text Book Board)
  • Initial Medical & Physical Evaluation
    • Initial Medical: Height check, eyesight, color blindness, hearing, weight/BMI, and general physical alignment. For GDP, height and vision requirements are usually strict, but candidates should always verify the current cycle’s official notice.
    • Physical/Stamina Test: Basic fitness checks such as running and stamina assessment may be included at select stages for shortlisted candidates.
  • Initial Interview
    Conducted at the Information and Selection Centre after clearing the early phases.
    It usually covers introduction, academic background, motivation, and basic current affairs.

  • ISSB (Inter Services Selection Board)
    ISSB is a 4 to 5 day evaluation process.
    • Day 1:
      - Intelligence written tests
      - Psychological tests
      - Word association
      - Sentence completion
      - Picture story writing
      - Self-description

    • Day 2 and Day 3:
      - Group discussions
      - Planning tasks
      - Outdoor group tasks
      - Command tasks

  • Flying Aptitude Test (FAT)
    Conducted only for candidates recommended for the GDP branch.
    It includes computerized cognitive and motor-skill assessments, short-term memory, speed and coordination tasks, and flight-related aptitude exercises.

  • Final Medical & Merit
    • Central Medical Board (CMB): Detailed medical examination conducted at the final medical stage.
    • Final Merit List: Prepared using academic marks, initial test performance, ISSB results, and overall merit.

Aeronautical Engineering for Girls


Eligibility Conditions for Aeronautical Engineering Girls in PAF
  • Nationality: Male / Female Citizen of Pakistan
  • Marital Status : Unmarried
  • Age: 16-22 years
  • Height : 147 cm
  • Type of Commission : Permanent Commission (PC)
  • Educational Qualification
    • Matric in 1st Division and F.Sc with 65% marks in aggregate in any one of the following disciplines:-
    • Pre Engg with chemistry as a subject
    • A’ Level with Physics, Maths and Chemistry
Complete Test Procedure for Females for CAE
The testing process for CAE is same as GDP, except changes in initial academic test and there is not flying aptitude test for aeronautical engineering.

    • Intelligence Test – 100 MCQs 35 Minutes - Verbal 40, non verbal 60)
    • English – 50 questions in 25 minutes.
    • Physics – 50 questions in 25 minutes.
    • Math – 50 question in 25 minutes
